XPLreact is a customized GIS application from the NSG Group built to assist with emergency response by providing information on available resources in the field and the means to rapidly survey incidents.
XPLreact uses ArcPad 7 - mobile mapping and GIS technology software from ESRI, leading providers of GIS technology and services worldwide.
The application provides:

Originally developed for use by first responders, XPLreact has potential for much wider application, for use in any emergency response situation where it is necessary to have immediate and accurate access to mapping information.
Standard features include:
- Find features on a map quickly
- Connect to a GPS receiver
- Draw freehand features
- Capture features using a GPS receiver
- Add and manipulate map layers
- Zoom to GPS co-ordinates
- Add points, lines and polygons
- Measure the distance on a map
Customised features include:
- Ability to manage Emergency Management Resources
- Identify, add, edit, or delete Incident features
- Search for a feature based on a set of criteria
- Printing functionality
XPLreact comes with XPLprint, an EGL application that runs alongside XPLreact, to enable the end-user to implement printing functionality when required.
XPLprint is written in Visual Basic, as well as Map Objects LT 2.0, a collection of component objects from ESRI.
